Author and illustrator Nikki McClure’s striking paper cuts depict the Pacific Northwest from her steadfast, and self-sustaining point of view. Her complex illustrations of simplistic joys in a natural environment are ubiquitous with Olympia’s indie music and arts scene. Her trust in me as her muralist comes as a result of our enduring friendship and collaborative efforts over the past two decades.
